Karel Mark Chichon, OBE, Gibraltar We consider conductor Karel Mark Chichon a noble friend and most talented conductor who gained considerable early experience with our Company, Inter-Cities Performing Arts, Inc. , and the Altamura/Caruso International Voice Competition. Karel blends great artistry with those attributes of character and charisma that make him a larger than life personality. Wherever he goes, and especially with musicians, Karel commends great respect. For this reason, he can shape musical phrases to the delight of all orchestras , singers, sophisticated audiences and critics. No small feat! BRAVO KAREL! Madame Butterfly, through the magic of your steady baton, or better, magical wand, lives again and so does Puccini. May you continue to lift the world’s audiences to that magical sphere of Mount Olympus reserved only for the Gods.
